The “Great Pumpkin” is calling!! The San Saba Garden Club is selling pumpkins from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the San Saba County Courthouse Square on Saturday, October 5th. A fall-themed “yard art” sign will also be raffled. Tickets are two for $5.00 or five for $10.00. Need not be present to win. All proceeds go toward the organization’s local projects and scholarship fund.

It’s that time again! Time for “Spayghetti!!” This evening is the 6th Annual Spayghetti Fundraiser in support of the spay, neuter, rescue and adoption programs administered by San Saba County Friends of Animals. Plan to enjoy a delicious spaghetti dinner prepared again by this year chefs, Don and Gaby Lindquist.
The Fourth Annual Night at the Museum, celebrating Texas Independence Day and benefiting the San Saba County Historical Museum, is scheduled for Saturday, March 7th, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the San Saba County Historical Museum housed inside Mill Pond Park.
The event will feature a Texas-themed program ending with a dazzling fireworks display over San Saba’s beautiful Mill Pond Park. If you are proud to be a Texan, you don’t want to miss this unique celebration!
Tickets are $10 for 11 & up, $5 for 6 thru 10, and FREE for 5 & under and current military.
