The San Saba County Historical Museum, housed within Mill Pond Park, will be open today from 1:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
The museum will continue to open each Saturday and Sunday through October. To schedule a tour during the week, email info@sansabamuseum.org.
Admission is free but donations are appreciated.

The San Saba Bird & Nature Club will travel to Enchanted Rock State Park for several hours of birding on Tuesday, October 15th. Entrance fee is $7. If you wish to carpool from San Saba, meet at the Arrowhead Bank parking lot by 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday. If you are coming from points further south or another direction, meet the group at the park by 9:00 a.m. Bring your binoculars, a sack lunch, something to drink, and dress for the weather. The San Saba County Chamber of Commerce will host its seventh annual Sip & Stroll Wine Tasting Event on December 14th from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A number of hill country wineries will participate in the Sip & Stroll each housed in separate downtown business venues including our own local wineries, Wedding Oak Winery and Old Man Scary Cellars.
Check-in at the San Saba Visitors Center, located at 113 S High in the historic downtown district of San Saba, where ticket holders will receive a wine glass and tote bag while supplies last.

The San Saba County Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us for our 9th Annual Sip N’ Stroll Wine Tasting Event and Lighted Christmas Parade. The widely popular Sip N’ Stroll begins on Saturday, December 11th, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. This year we will host eight visiting and two local wineries pouring delicious tastes of their wines in our downtown businesses.
