The San Saba Farmer’s Market is open today and each Wednesday through mid-August at the county courthouse square. The market will feature vendors selling fresh fruits and veggies, eggs, home-canned goods, honey, preserves, breads & pies, tamales and more. Be prepared to practice social distancing guidelines.

It’s that time again! Time for “Spayghetti!!” This evening is the 7th Annual Spayghetti Fundraiser in support of the spay, neuter, rescue and adoption programs administered by San Saba County Friends of Animals. Drive through only but SSCFOA will deliver within the San Saba city limits.
Today is the annual opening of the Welcome Hunters Weekend at the Estep-Burleson Plaza. Hunters will receive goodie bags compliments the San Saba County Chamber of Commerce while supplies last.
This evening is the annual Welcome Hunters Steak Supper & Raffle hosted by the San Saba Volunteer Fire Department from 4:30 p.m. until “we run out!” Drive-through only.
Cost is $15 per plate. Additional Donations Welcome!
